AT A GLANCE

GEMS Education, the region’s largest education groups, faced a critical challenge: while its schools delivered strong, trusted experiences, the master brand felt distant, corporate, and undefined. In a world where education, and the definition of success—is rapidly evolving, the task was to reframe GEMS from a “group of schools” into a future-facing platform of opportunity. Through deep listening, research, and strategic reframing, we built a positioning that shifts the narrative from academics to future readiness, laying the foundation for a brand that prepares not just students for exams, but for what comes next.


MY ROLE

Creative Strategy Lead: Led the strategic process end-to-end—designing and facilitating workshops with students, parents, and principals, synthesizing qualitative research, identifying core tensions, and building the forward-looking positioning and narrative framework.


THE BRIEF

Reposition GEMS Education, the largest private education group with 50+ schools in the UAE, from a large, corporate network into a clear, future-facing brand aligned with how education and the world is evolving.

THE TENSION

Inside GEMS, the experience is strong and trusted but outside, the brand feels too big, corporate, unclear, and shaped by perception over reality.

THE OPPORTUNITY FLIP

Turn scale and corporate perception from a liability into an advantage, reframing GEMS not as a school, but as an ecosystem that unlocks access, opportunity, and future readiness.
